Hi Everyone! It’s good to be back, and to be able to show y’all some of the things I have been working on!
It’s been a while since I have had the capacity to brain my way through to writing. The impression of my former capacity (nearly 8 years ago, wowzers, time marches on) is still strong, but my current ability, while slowly growing stronger under the guidance of Holy Spirit, is still dependent on navigating the fine line of my ABI.
I apologise for being absent for so long without explanation. As I understand this new way of life more, it will continue to become easier to understand how to share what is happening so situations like this last 12 months don’t happen in quite the same way again.
Just in case you aren’t aware; the purpose of Deep River & Fire is to bring together all kinds of Christians who are dissatisfied with ‘the way life is’; want to do something about it, but generally have not found communities around them which are able or willing to answer questions, teach and learn practical skills and don't have strong connections with other like minded people for prayer, developing friendships & support. (Of course, if anything here builds you up, challenges you, encourages you to grow, gives you tools and answers questions and you also have all or some of those other things, I'm really really super happy!)
This is as important for me as anyone else.
I can share what God is teaching me, what I learn on the road into the Deep Places of the Heart of the Father, how He performs absolute miracles in the every-day; but if I don’t remember to share them with you (in writing or otherwise), and don't have space to hear from you, then the reason for us being here together is lost.
So here I am, and you can see some of the things I have been working on over the last 12 months: the new look website, the e-book, Instagram…
2018 will bring other new things as well, look out for those!
What I am praying for is we can make the Power of the Presence of God such a normal part of our every day experience that the world changes around us, just by our living from our relationship with Him.
There is nothing louder than the quiet whisper of a voice filled with the Power of Holy Spirit.
